Estimate disclaimer
Last updated
The estimator on this site produces a range, not a price. This page explains exactly what that number is based on and what will change it.
An estimate is not a binding quote
No figure produced by this site commits either of us to anything. A binding price is issued only in writing, after a site assessment, and only in your contract.
What the estimate is calculated from
- A base rate for the home type you selected.
- Distance along a heavy-goods vehicle route between the two addresses you entered, multiplied by a size factor for the home's width.
- An escort allowance if the home is an oversize load.
- A flat permit figure for each state the route crosses.
- The add-on services you selected.
What we have not seen yet
We have not inspected your home's frame, axles or roof structure. We have not seen the access at either end, the condition of the destination pad, or the utilities. Those are the things that most often move the final figure, and they are what the site assessment exists to establish.
When routing is unavailable
If our routing provider cannot return a route, the distance shown is a straight-line approximation rather than a driving distance. Where that happens the estimate says so on the result.
Rates change
Fuel, permit fees, escort availability and labour rates all move. An estimate reflects our rates on the day you generated it and is not held open.
Regulatory information
Anything we publish about permits, escort thresholds or state requirements is general background. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for the permits we file for your specific move.
