An emailed price is not a binding quote

No figure we send before a site assessment commits either of us to anything. A binding price is issued only in writing, after a site assessment, and only in your contract.

What your price is calculated from

• A base rate for the home type you selected.
• Distance along a heavy-goods vehicle route between the two addresses you entered, multiplied by a size factor for the home's width.
• An escort allowance if the home is an oversize load.
• A flat permit figure for each state the route crosses.
• The add-on services you selected.

What we have not seen yet

We have not inspected your home's frame, axles or roof structure. We have not seen the access at either end, the condition of the destination pad, or the utilities. Those are the things that most often move the final figure, and they are what the site assessment exists to establish.

When routing is unavailable

If our routing provider cannot return a route, the distance shown is a straight-line approximation rather than a driving distance. Where that happens the result page says so, and a dispatcher re-surveys the lane before pricing it.

Rates change

Fuel, permit fees, escort availability and labour rates all move. A price we email reflects our rates on the day we send it and is not held open indefinitely.
